Federal Way Audiology is owned by audiologists Dr. Yeasel Chae and Dr. Laura Moran, both of whom are dedicated to helping our community experience an improved quality of life through better hearing and balance. Dr. Chae is bilingual in English and Korean. She saw a need for audiological care in the Korean community and worked with Dr. Moran to open a practice that is focused on helping others.
What to Expect
When you visit Federal Way Audiology for your hearing needs you can expect your appointment to be broken into a few parts.
Conversation:
Every appointment begins with a conversation to get to know you better and understand your hearing needs.
Ear Examination:
We will look inside your ears using an otoscope to determine the ear canal is clear and your eardrum is healthy.
Testing:
A diagnostic hearing exam will be performed to determine if hearing loss is present and what degree you have.
Results:
We will go over your results with you which are charted on an audiogram.
Management Options:
If an aidable hearing loss is present, we will go over your management options and create a plan specifically for you.
Preferred Provider of the NFL Players Association
Federal Way Audiology is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association’s Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collect data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
