Our Hearing Center
Federal Way Audiology is owned and operated by Dr. Yeasel Chae. As a privately owned hearing clinic, we have the ability to work with patients of all ages, giving them the time to fully understand their needs and to develop an individualized treatment plan. We offer a wide range of audiology services including diagnostic hearing tests, hearing aids, tinnitus management, and balance evaluations.

Doctor of Audiology | Owner
Dr. Yeasel Chae is a Doctor of Audiology certified with the American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA) and with the American Academy of Audiology. She grew up in Federal Way attending elementary, junior high, and high school in the area. Dr. Chae is Korean American and is fluent in both English and Korean. She has experience with hearing evaluations, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing aids, cochlear implant testing and mapping, and VNG testing.
Dr. Chae loves technology and anatomy and she found audiology to be the perfect combination of the two. She enjoys helping people and building a rapport with her patients.
Outside of work Dr. Chae enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. She also enjoys traveling and gardening. She is extremely excited to begin this journey and hopes Federal Way Audiology will be a great addition to the community.

Front Desk Coordinator
Hyun Chae is happy to join Federal Way Audiology as a Front Desk Coordinator, supporting patients and assisting with the daily operations of the clinic. She brings over ten years of professional experience from the forwarding and logistics industry, where organization, accuracy, and clear communication were key to success.
As a Korean-speaking team member, Hyun Chae is passionate about helping Korean-speaking patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their hearing care journey. She is committed to continuing to grow in the field of audiology while providing dependable and compassionate support to patients and the clinical team.
Outside of work, Hyun Chae enjoys spending time with her family and maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Lauri Ball
Medical Biller
Lauri brings over 25 years of dedicated experience in medical billing; she adds a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our private practice. She has honed her skills in navigating the complexities of healthcare billing and coding, ensuring that our practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Lauri is committed to delivering accurate billing solutions that not only streamline our operations but also enhance patient care, allowing our team to focus on what matters most – the well-being of our patients.
Outside of her professional career, Lauri enjoys hobbies filled with activities that bring her joy. An avid reader, she finds inspiration and relaxation in literature. She also loves playing softball, where she enjoys the teamwork and camaraderie that the sport brings. Above all Lauri cherishes spending quality time with her son and the moments shared with family and friends.
